Safeguarding Children

Course Overview

This course is aimed at anyone who has a duty of care for, or comes into contact with children in their chosen profession. You and the organisation you work for must take appropriate and proportional measures necessary for the protection of children in your care.

Course Content:
• 5 modules with questions at the end
• Introductions and Definitions
• Types of Abuse
• Recognising the signs of Abuse
• What to do if you suspect abuse
• Safeguarding Legislation

The course is split into modules, which can either be completed in one sitting, or saved and the course will recommence once the user returns.  The suggested duration for this course is 1½ hours however; this does not take into account thinking time for questions. You are given the chance to review all your answers at the end of each module before final submission and each module requires a pass rate of 70%. On successful completion, a certificate of training is automatically generated. £35.00 plus VAT per candidate.
