Slinger / Banksman Course
Course Overview
This course provides training for delegates wishing to act as slinger/banksman when moving loads by crane in the workplace. The duration of the course will be 1-3 days, depending on the experience of the delegates. The course provides training as referred to in the laws relating to health and safety and work equipment, enabling employers and employees to fulfil their legal obligations.

• Pre-use inspections and selection of lifting tackle
• LOLER regulations 1998
• Load limitations
• Slinging methods
• Different types of loads
• Accurate guiding of loads
• Centre of gravity
• Hand signals
This course is usually run on client’s sites but we can accommodate training within a suitable training centre.
