Fork Lift Truck Refresher Course

Course Overview

This course is accredited by the RTITB, and provides refresher training for forklift truck operators who are familiar with using the trucks and have received previous training. Training consists of theory and practical sessions. We can train on counterbalance or reach trucks. We can also train on pedestrian stacker/pallet trucks. Candidates must be able to supply evidence of previous training to be eligible for this course.

Course content:
Employer’s and employee’s legal responsibilities
Hazards arising from the use of fork lift trucks
Basic maintenance
Longitudinal and lateral stability
Pre-use inspection
Setup to lift various loads
Differing terrains
Manoeuvering in confined areas
Keeping within safe working parameters

Candidates will receive written and practical assessments. Successful candidates will receive an RTITB accredited certificate. £185.00 plus VAT per person for this one day course.
