Appointed Person Lifting (CPCS A61)
Course Overview
This course is administered by the Construction Plant Competence Scheme and is designed for individuals who will be responsible for the planning, organising and controlling of lifting operations in the workplace. The aim and objective of this course is to provide the candidate with the underpinning knowledge, to be able to understand their roles and responsibilities when planning lifting operations, as per current legislation.

On successful completion of the course the candidate will be awarded a red CPCS operator card endorsed with the category A61 Appointed Person – Lifting Operations. This can only be issued if the candidate has an in date Managerial & Professional health & safety test, which has been achieved before undertaking the CPCS technical test. £870.00 plus VAT per person for this five day course.
