Emergency First Aid Course

Course Overview

This course is provided in association with Nuco Training to give candidates, as the appointed person, first aid qualification. This is the minimum qualification required for a person appointed by an employer to take charge of first aid arrangements.

Course Content:
• Definition of First Aid
• Responsibilities of appointed person
• Actions in an emergency
• Breathing & circulation
• Airway obstruction
• Resuscitation
• Treatment of bleeding
• Dressings & bandages
• Treatment of shock

Candidates will be practically assessed, and receive a course handout summarising the topics covered. Successful candidates will receive an Emergency First Aid at Work certificate. £115.00 plus VAT per person for this one day course.
