Fork Lift Truck Novice Course

Course Overview

This course is accredited by the RTITB and is for candidates who wish to operate fork lift trucks but have no prior experience. Training consists of theory and practical sessions. We can train on counterbalance or reach trucks. We can also train on pedestrian stacker/pallet trucks.

Course content:
Employer’s and employee’s legal responsibilities
Hazards arising from the use of fork lift trucks
Basic maintenance
Longitudinal and lateral stability
Pre-use inspection
Setup to lift various loads
Differing terrains
Manoeuvering in confined areas
Keeping within safe working parameters

Candidates will receive written and practical assessments. Successful candidates will receive an RTITB accredited certificate. £495.00 plus VAT per person for a five day course.
