Working Safely

Course Overview

This course provides instruction to managers and employees in the correct techniques for manually lifting and moving items in the workplace, thereby reducing injuries and enabling employers to comply with legal requirements.
Training your employees with our online system will go a long way to giving them greater awareness of the dangers that poor manual handling poses, as well as covering safe handling techniques, practical solutions to manual handling issues and the use of mechanical aids.

Course Content:
7 modules with questions at the end
Introducing Working Safely
• Defining Hazard and Risk
• Identifying Common Hazards
• Improving Safety Performance
• Protecting the Environment
• Final Assessment
• Hazard Perception

The course is split into modules, which can either be completed in one sitting, or saved and the course will recommence once the user returns.  The suggested duration for this course is 2 ½ hours however; this does not take into account thinking time for questions. You are given the chance to review all your answers at the end of each module before final submission and each module requires a pass rate of 75%. On successful completion, a certificate of training is automatically generated. £65.00 plus VAT per candidate.
